TED Ideas Worth Spreading

I was wondering what it would be like working for Google so I “googled” that and after following several links, landed on this amazing website. I would describe TED as a YouTube where most videos make sense and are not just an attempt by the individual in the video to capture fame.

The first video I watched on the site was this clip by Hans Rosling who also happens to have worked (not sure if still working) for Google. Be careful. After watching this video, I found myself going through 10 more on the TED site. If you can watch Billy Graham, Brian Greene, and Johnny Lee’s videos, I’d assure you that it would have been an excellent use of your time. Enjoy!!!

Note: I tried to embed the video on this page but had a really difficult time “pasting” the code. Hope you can still follow the links.

I’m still enjoying the talks on this website. I wish they’d have more fresh material but even with what they have now, I feel that I’ve learned a lot after not being in school for what I consider a long time. It is like being in a classroom once again, listening to brilliant minds. It is entertainment but it is also a way for me to refresh my mind which is currently experiencing a drought of ideas. How I wish I could attend one of these conferences in the future. That would be a real treat ^_^
